“I’ve got a good feeling about this…”
Ask anyone who knows me; they’ll tell you that Star Wars is pretty much my favorite thing.
And so, nerd that I am, I set out to create a fleet of cosmetic products. Each shade of eyeshadow and tube of lipstick represents an homage to a powerful and iconic heroine from across the vast Star Wars Saga.
Inspiration
Star Wars is a captivating series.
It’s not just about the valiant Jedi crashing in to save the day from the dastardly Sith. There’s something deeply inspiring about the setting, and the pantheon of unique and interesting characters. In particular, it features a veritable fleet of powerful and fascinating women, and I wanted to pay them homage.
I knew that I wanted to approach the branding from a place informed by the aesthetic of the films, while still being rooted in modern design principles. It can be a tricky balance to keep, so I wanted to make sure my inspiration was as clean and easy to adapt as possible.
The Palette
The flagship of this collection is the eyeshadow palette. Each shade in the palette is named after, and directly inspired by an individual heroine in the Star Wars Saga.
Liquid Lipsticks
To compliment the palette, I also wanted to create a fleet of liquid lipsticks that would pair with the shadows. Each shade of liquid lip correlates to a specific character within the Star Wars saga.

Spectre - a vibrant green based on Hera Syndulla from Star Wars Rebels
Aggressive Negotiator - a luxurious red, a tribute to Queen Amidala from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Be With Me - a cool blue, inspired by Rey from Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker
Fulcrum - a rich shade of red, drawn from Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Charming To The Last - a shimmery silver gloss, referencing Princess Leia from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
Phantom - a bold purple gloss, inspired by Sabine Wren from Star Wars: Rebels
