I branded a lot of events with Student Activities…

Let’s do a lightning round of some of my favorites!

Around the World Bingo

Around the World Bingo was the last event I branded with Liberty University, but even so, it’s one of my favorites.

We wanted a global feel, but to keep everything unified, I wanted to keep a really limited color-palette. I drew a lot of inspo from vintage postcards.

SEPT. 4 / 2020

Definitely among the illustrations I am most proud of from my time with SA. The event was a trivia competition with categories covering the various television shows depicted in the poster.

It was a fun challenge to capture the essences of each of the characters.

Trivia Night: TV Favorites

This event was a lot of fun to brand, as I am a huge fan of the memphis movement and the general aesthetic of the 1990s.

I tried to capture the look of an old CRTV by giving the branding a blurry, distorted look, to really capture that 90s marathon moment.

90’s Movie Marathon

The moment I heard I was responsible for this event, I knew exactly the direction I wanted to head in.

A classic, colorful, spaghetti western aesthetic was just what this event needed to build some hype.

Hoedown Bingo

This was the first event I ever branded with Liberty SA, and it remains one of my absolute favorites.

This definitely represents a lot of my personal aesthetic, so to show that off in front of the whole school was a really unique opportunity.

SEPT. 17 / 2019

Gray Concert

This was actually the second iteration of the event, as we had initially approached it with a different illustration of Forky.

However, Bo Peep definitely was the correct choice, and I am so glad we made the decision to switch characters. In the end, it became a really beautiful piece of illustration.
