This is the way.

Binge and Banter was an event I branded during my time with Liberty University Student Activities. It was a gathering created to discuss the current binge-worthy show everyone was talking about.

When I found out the theme was The Mandalorian, I screamed. Star Wars is very important to me.

I knew from the get-go I wanted to reflect the breezey and empty feel of the show, that kind of "Space-Western" feel was what I knew I had to embrace. I ended up turning to a lot of those 1960s spaghetti westerns for visual inspiration.

What I ended up with was a modern, yet vintage kind of feel, which I was extremely proud of.

“I would like to see the baby.”

While branding the event, I was asked to create a branded takeaway for the event. In this case, we decided to create a “Baby Yoda” sticker, that guests attending the event could take away from the event as a memento.

What we were not anticipating, however, was for our sticker to be a runaway hit.

We had lines of people showing up to the event just to snag one of the stickers, and we ran out almost immediately. I even saw someone make a listing in a school facebook group offering to pay $20 to anyone who was able to snag one.

It was definitely wild, and I was very proud.

“I Like Those Odds.”

One of my favorite aspects of our branding was how empty it felt. Like a dusty sandy planet with lots of wide-open space

Our marketing video expert Kallie did an amazing job bringing my illustration to life for our convo ad.
