I am a freelance graphic designer and illustrator,
with a background in studio and digital art.
I have my BFA in Graphic Design, and take my work very seriously.

We see her grow from timid padawan, to capable warrior, to fallen Jedi, to redeemed Jedi Master. She’s strong, empathetic, patient, and grows to represent the best qualities of Anakin - her master. I feel I’ve grown up alongside Ahsoka. Her unique charm, masculinity, and drive to achieve her own goals make her distinct from what we see as a “princess”. Merida stands apart, and in a class all her own. Brave is a really underrated film, it’s all about humility and family conflict. About admitting you’re wrong even when it’s hard. She’s innocent and idealistic, and willing to do whatever it takes to follow her dream. She wants to see and experience everything the world has to offer. This piece is based on the iconic lantern scene, but inspired by the visual style of Tangled the Series. The lantern sequence in Tangled always makes me feel nostalgic. Her story is reflective of so many black Americans that forged their own path, that challenged the status quo and made the world a richer, more beautiful place with their art. Tiana is one of my personal favorite princesses. She knows that dreams will not put her past the barriers in her life, she needs to work hard to actualize them. Tiana never relents to push forward not only her own dreams, but the dreams her father never got to see through. It’s hopeful, and optimistic that hatred and ignorance can be unlearned, and it’s portrayal of its main character is a testament to that. Pocahontas has a childlike innocence, yet a wisdom beyond her years. She is empathetic and compassionate, yet unafraid to chart her own course and forge a new path.
